About us

We started Mobula in 2021, where our first experience with fluorescence-guided surgery goes back to 2008. We are a technology driven company where the patient is our main concern. With our knowledge of molecular imaging, machine learning and AI, we try to make the surgical plan and live surgery more efficient to improve patient outcome. It is our wish that Fluorescence Guided Surgery is part of every surgeon’s toolbox. Therefore we utilise activities from translational research to routine application of Image Guided Surgery in day-to-day patient care.

Our Mission

Enable to treat every surgery patient with the least invasive and most effective therapy using Innovative Imaging techniques, Molecule labelling and Photo Dynamic Therapy

Our Vision

It’s our ultimate goal to eradicate Recurrence, Redo- & Revision surgery.

Our Journey

It was a day in 2008 at a research laboratory in Amsterdam*. We were euphoric when out of nowhere a fluorescent lymph node presented itself with one of the very first prototype Minimal Invasive NIR Camera’s after injection of ICG. It was the start of our search to a different approach of clinical real-time Imaging for the surgical patiënt.
