At Alrijne Ziekenhuis, the ๐๐ก๐๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ฑ๐ has entered its hybrid phase (Tc99 + ICG) โ an important step towards a more patient-friendly and sustainable future in ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ๐.
To make this transition smooth, we joined forces for ๐๐๐ผ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐น๐ฟ๐ถ๐ท๐ป๐ฒโ๐ ๐ข๐ฅ ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐, the people who turn implementation into daily practice.
Arianne and Laura Visser shared how ICG fluorescence is already being used in ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐๐๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, and discussed what will change for the ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐น ๐น๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ต ๐ป๐ผ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ in breast cancer surgery at their hospital.
Then ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ผ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ: hands-on with the camera and training phantom, seeing fluorescence come to life and experiencing how it will soon look in real surgery.
What stood out was the ๐น๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐: everyone joined in, asked important questions, and built confidence together. By involving the whole team and preparing thoroughly, Alrijne is laying the foundation for a smooth and lasting implementation.
