Due to an unique collaboration all trainings are approved and certified by the Greenlight Group of the Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC).
The module Basic Fluorescence has been developed for anyone who wants to have more background information and practical tips about Fluorescence Guidance Surgery (FGS) in a clinical setting.
After the training you will have sufficient knowledge of Fluorescence Guided Surgery to help implement this amazing innovation in your own daily practice. You know all about the technical background of FGS; Fluorescence in general and needed cameras and Dyes’. You know about meaning and approach of FGS and which procedures are eligible to apply FGS. You can translate knowledge to an efficient set up of instruments. You master these instruments and know how to administer dye (Verdye ICG). You recognize pitfalls and know how to anticipate.

At the end of the program, a certificate of completion from GreenLight Leiden / Mobula Academy recognizes your accomplishment.

Both ICG and NIR sensitive cameras are available worldwide. The basic principles of fluorescence apply to all dyes and cameras. Specific information about ICG is based on Indocyanine Green from Diagnostic Green, which is available in more than 60 countries.
